The Missing Magic Internet Marketing Ingredient
I’m going to talk about exactly what it takes to be successful online and what is the best online business and where to get the best internet marketing course that is free on the web today.
But first, let me tell you a story…
Growing up in the country, on a farm, our neighbor had a bull that was just about the most stubborn thing you’ve ever encountered.
If you wanted it to go out to the pasture, it would steadfastly refuse to go and instead would spend all day in the barn.
Then if you wanted it to come into the barn because of the rain, it would stand out there in the pasture until it was soaked and still, it would not come indoors to dry off.
And so on it went. No matter what you wanted this bull to do, it always seemed resolutely fixed on taking the opposite course of action to what you wanted.
Internet Marketing
With Internet marketing, we often wonder why success comes so hard.
- Perhaps if we learn just one more technique maybe it will all come together for us.
- Perhaps if we buy one more course, one more ebook or attend one more webinar, it will all make sense and the money will rain down from the sky.
But a month later, or a year later, where do most marketers find themselves? In the exact same place they were before, still struggling to make much money online.
What Do You Have in Common With a Bull?
Now you might wonder what a stubborn bull and a struggling Internet marketer have in common, and it’s this:
“Both of them already have success within themselves, the key to success is hidden within your motivation, your determination and your ‘teach-ability’. In other words are you teach-a-bull.”
The bull doesn’t need another eBook on ‘how to come in out of the rain‘ any more than a struggling marketer needs a another ordinary eBook on how to make money online.
What the bull and the Internet Marketer both need to be successful, is a ‘success mindset’, or more specifically, adopting what we might simply call, a change in our mind.
Belief
A belief in their own success. So rather than cursing the journey out to the green pasture when we’re standing in the barn, or damning the rain when we don’t have sense enough to come inside.
We need merely only change our thinking, and by changing our thinking we can change our actions, and thereby change our results. It’s all about belief and having a dream.
Dreams & Goals Do Happen:
Instead Of…
Instead of envying the ‘big guns’ that have large lists of people ready to promote their products to thousands of hungry buyers, ask how can you get yourself into a position where you too, have a long list of people who would love to promote your products.
Instead of getting frustrated that you can’t seem to monetize your site, find out what others are doing that’s working. You can emulate and improve upon their methods, or better still, you get an education on internet marketing.
(I’ll show you how to do exactly that in a moment.) But first, you need to believe that you can, make it a goal and dream about it.
Don’t Play The Victim
Playing the victim to your circumstances is like telling yourself that it’s too late to get into the Internet marketing game, that all the great niches are gone, that you’ll never be able to do what others have already accomplished and so forth – that’s just negative thinking.
Playing the victim is like standing out in the rain and refusing to come inside, or standing inside the barn and refusing to go out into the green pastures.
Victims don’t make money, they make misery. Whereas a ‘success mindset’ constantly asks, how a negative can be turned into a positive, and how a shortfall can be re-made into a windfall, how can lemons be made into lemonade?.
Winners – Win
Such as the examples I highlight in other posts, like the one about the smuggler or the 23-year-old who made $120,000 in one day. (both true stories)
Every time you find yourself reacting negatively to something, mentally correct your self by seeing it as a challenge rather than as a problem.
Do this enough times and you will reprogram yourself for success, after all, you cannot help but be successful if you are constantly taking positive action and you can only take positive action when you first think the positive thoughts that lead to that action. Believe in yourself. (For details on how to do this see the link below)
Success
Also, learn to think long term. Success isn’t leaping from one idea to the next. Success is found when you choose your path and then stay on that path until you reach your destination.
True, the journey may not unfold as you plan, but so long as you keep your eyes on the prize and continue to move forward, believing that you can, you cannot help but eventually succeed.
And you don’t need to invent new markets, rather you need only find a market that is already profitable and then find ways to improve on what is being offered within that market.
What Do People Want?
Find out what it is that people want, and not only deliver it to them but go above and beyond in ways that are so extraordinarily helpful and pleasing, that your name becomes synonymous with incredible value in that niche.
Forget magic bullets, or any new-fangled software program that proclaims they will change everything for you in the wink of an eye.
Instead, choose your niche, create your website and/or blog and focus on building quality content and work on building your list of quality subscribers and new customers.
Forget any gimmick that promises thousands of people on your list in a week, they will only give you bogus email addresses or people who couldn’t care less about your niche. It’s a waste of your time and your resources.
Better to have 50 people on your list who are truly interested in your niche than 5,000 people who aren’t. You are better to have 2 proven buyers in that niche than 50 freebie seekers.

Focus
By focusing on building great content you will soon find your site attracting a following, and soon you may have 5 or 10 great leads. In short order you will find that this works for you, day in and day out. And once you’ve got your ‘content‘ attracting readers, it’s simply a matter of time before those 5 to 10 become 50 to 100 and even more.
But, it all starts at the beginning, at finding what works to bring in that first truly interested subscriber, and then the second and so on. There are no shortcuts.
True, there are many who will sell you on the idea that you can make your fortune or build your list overnight, but ask yourself this, “Who prospers when you purchase their product? The answer is, it’s them! While you are left with a little less cash and a little less hope.
Seek and Find
Let others, search for the magic holy grail of traffic that instantly floods their site with visitors. The thing about floods, is they are fast and deep, but they’re also messy and short-lived. Instead, gradually grow your business on a rock solid foundation that can withstand any storm.
Think about the choice of either grabbing a few hundred dollars overnight, to then be left with no more income. Versus; Doubling a penny each day, for 30 days.
“Which would you choose?
The doubling penny, of course, even though it only brings in a few pennies for the first few weeks and it looks like a bad choice, compared to the instant hundreds of dollars that you could have had.
But then, ‘the magic happens‘, an abundance of money comes to you in the last part of the month, as it doubles and doubles and doubles again.
And builds into a solid unstoppable income that arrives day and night, regardless of the economy, trends, quirks in the market, or any competition. 
And success is not just a matter of mindset, it’s not just a matter of choosing a path and sticking to it and finding what works and doing more of it.
It’s also about developing your skills as a marketer.
What if?
What if this week you master;
- How to write articles that send traffic to your site?
- Perhaps next week, you master setting up a blog and write a new post every couple of days.
- And perhaps the week after you learn how to make short videos that inform your visitors, and drives traffic to your affiliate links.
What if each week you picked a new task to master, but even if it took you two weeks to master something new, in less than 3 months, you will know more than 95% of most marketers out there.

I appreciate this post a lot because at some point in my life, I had played the victim role (it has nothing to do with internet marketing then) and it didn’t do me any good. I was like the bull, acting tough under the rain while drenching in self-pity all the time. The thing is, no one will ever know about it except for yourself.
I don’t remember when I started changing, but I did eventually start to believe in myself again. I am glad that I have passed the growing pains and can now focus on creating a better future for myself.
