Is to ditch them? – Really! – Yes, let me explain…
Suppose you decide it’s time to leave your job or learn how to get your website to rank on page one and you’re made up your mind to do just that.
Everybody knows you’ve got to stay acutely focused on your goals if you want to achieve anything in life – Right?
But what if “everybody’s” wrong about the best way to accomplish goals. What if everything you thought about achieving your goals was wrong?
What Do I Mean?
Let’s say you’re a coach and your goal is to win the championship. How do you do that? By focusing on the end goal?
“Or by focusing on all the things your team needs to do in order to be good enough to win. Daydreaming about winning, isn’t going to be enough. You’ve still got to hone your skills and practice, practice and practice”.
Or say, you’re a salesperson and you have set goals for yourself to earn $200,000 in commissions this year, twice what you earned last year. How will you do that? Do you focus on the end result of $200,000?
“Or do you do twice as much of what you did the year before and by calling on that, ‘specific’ number of prospects every day without fail. – Otherwise if you don’t do this you’ll continue to work like you did in the past, and the new goal will likely be one you won’t achieve”.
Or say, you’re a writer and your goal is to write a 240-page book over the next 60 days. How do you do that?
“By breaking the goal down into smaller ‘mini’ goals, such as, sitting down and writing four pages per day (4 x 60 = 240). If you don’t create a ‘system’ and then focus on the process of writing those four pages each day, you’ll never make the goal of completing the book in sixty days”.
Or, maybe you’re into Internet Marketing. (if you are reading this, maybe you are an internet marketer). So let’s say your goal is to earn $10,000 a month. How do you do that? By focusing on the end result of that $10,000 per month goal?
When asked recently, what was the best small business to start Dan Kennedy had an interesting notion about building a business:
“One of the lessons I learned slowly and painfully has to do with income versus wealth.”
So what’s the difference?According to Dan, sales and profits are important, and that’s what most business entrepreneurs focus on. However sales and profits are not wealth, they are income.
Wealth, he says, comes from creating valuable assets, that produce income. You can either work all your life creating income, or you can work on building wealth. Such as a business assets so that the income eventually takes care of itself. That he said, is the best type if business to start.
For example, opening your own little cafe creates income, but creating a system, such as McDonald’s that can be ‘duplicated’ and ‘scaled’, now that creates wealth.
Today
Many sport and entertainment superstars, successful business owners, entrepreneurs and even lottery winners, may have a big income but they easily fall into the trap of wealth ‘simulation’ instead of wealth ‘creation‘.
When they are focused on creating income they tend to spend much of it on the trappings of wealth, living a wealthy lifestyle, simulating wealth by dissipating cash.
I personally know, because I spent the first 40 odd years of my life focused on wealth ‘simulation’ with beautiful houses, exotic cars, wives, expensive friends and other things, that gave the appearance of wealth.
But when the income stopped – they all disappeared. If I had instead focused upon creating wealth rather than earning income, things could have been very different.
Wealth Creation
Focusing on wealth creation means, using the income to build or acquire assets that then generates income with which to acquire more assets. You continue to do this, until generating an income doesn’t require yourself to do the actual work.
Your personal income should not be used for living a luxurious lifestyle, butinstead, used to create or acquire assets from which you can eventually live a wealthy life.
Wealthy People Understand
Most truly successful wealth creators understand this principle implicitly.

Warren Buffet still lives in the modest home he bought in the 1958 and the late Sam Walton drove an old pickup truck, these are both examples of wealth creators living well below their means. John D Rockefeller and J Paul Getty are examples of wealth creators whose use of this principle has ensured that their legacy lives on, generations later.
We’re taught from an early age that success is everything!Win the game, ace the test and be the best at something and you will get grown-ups approval.
Then as we get older, succeeding becomes even more important.
You got into a top college – Excellent!
You won the contract – Great!
You built a million dollar business – Well done!
You get the approval of family, friends, colleagues and peers. And you put it down to simply being a success and to all those ‘never give up‘ quotes you may have read.
But Nobody Tells You
There’s something that nobody tells you, and that is that;

Don’t Be a Quitter! – Be a Failure Instead…
Because before you (or anyone) can really win big you nearly always have to fail, fail often and sometimes you have to fail big.
“So what is the key to success? Yes that’s right – Failure!
I’m sure you have heard or read many “never give up quotes” before, (and I will get to some of those soon), but it’s not always so easy to come back from real failure.
You have probably also heard the expression, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained,” Well, sometimes when you ‘venture’, you don’t always ‘gain’. Many times you might lose, and sometimes you actually might lose everything.
I Know Because I Have
I can personally relate well to this, having made and then lost millions of dollars, several times, in fact. And believe me, when that happens, your self-esteem takes a hit and your confidence takes a nosedive and you ask yourself “Why am I such a failure in life” and those “never give up quotes” – well…!
It Hurts When You Lose
It’s not fun and the next time you venture out (if at all) you tend be a little more cautious, you are inclined to hedge your bets and you don’t play quite as hard-out the next time round.
Why? Because of fear. It’s human nature to be a little scared after you have failed hard.
If you do fail again, – well, you can always tell yourself that you didn’t lose as big this time have because you played a little slower.
But that’s probably why you will fail again because you played with less passion and were fearful, so you just ended up failing again!
It’s Funny
It’s a funny thing, but many people that fail a time or two, often will just give up and quit. Failure hurts too much. It’s humiliating, embarrassing and it sucks. So they make the decision to play it “safe” rather than venture out again into the harsh, cruel world.
Sadly, this means they don’t try to ‘play‘ anymore, they just sit in their cozy, comfort zone and never try again. To risk failure one more time, would be too mortifying and too crushing for their egos to bear. So they give up on their dreams and goals.
But It’s The Only Way
Yet here’s what those people who give up, don’t know: The ONLY way you can absolutely and permanently fail is to do just that – QUIT. Everything else is just a stepping stone along the road to success.
Too often, people want to know “what is the best online business to have?. They ask themselves “what can I do and not fail at?“… but that is not the right question.
“What you should ask is; what can I fail at and still succeed“.
Never Give Up!

Successful people know this and that’s why they can shake off the humiliation (as hard as that is) and try again and again because they know that the only true failure is the failure to try.
Yet, society looks down upon those who have failed, lost money, or have been bankrupted. Often calling them ‘losers’ or ‘dreamers’ and they are disparaged because they didn’t quit on their dreams or given up on their goals.
Whereas, it seems that the people who have never tried, and don’t want to try, or have quit early, are called stable, reliable and are seen as normal and respected members of society.

I’m going to talk about exactly what it takes to be successful online and what is the best online business and where to get the best internet marketing course that is free on the web today.
But first, let me tell you a story…
Growing up in the country, on a farm, our neighbor had a bull that was just about the most stubborn thing you’ve ever encountered.
If you wanted it to go out to the pasture, it would steadfastly refuse to go and instead would spend all day in the barn.
Then if you wanted it to come into the barn because of the rain, it would stand out there in the pasture until it was soaked and still, it would not come indoors to dry off.
And so on it went. No matter what you wanted this bull to do, it always seemed resolutely fixed on taking the opposite course of action to what you wanted.
Perhapsif we learn just one more technique maybe it will all come together for us.
Perhapsif we buy one more course, one more ebook or attend one more webinar, it will all make sense and the money will rain down from the sky.
But a month later, or a year later, where do most marketers find themselves? In the exact same place they were before, still struggling to make much money online.
What Do You Have in Common With a Bull?
Now you might wonder what a stubborn bull and a struggling Internet marketer have in common, and it’s this:
“Both of them already have success within themselves, the key to success is hidden within your motivation, your determination and your ‘teach-ability’. In other words are you teach-a-bull.”
The bull doesn’t need another eBook on ‘how to come in out of the rain‘ any more than a struggling marketer needs a another ordinary eBook on how to make money online.
What the bull and the Internet Marketer both need to be successful, is a ‘success mindset’, or more specifically, adopting what we might simply call, a change in our mind.
Belief
A belief in their own success. So rather than cursing the journey out to the green pasture when we’re standing in the barn, or damning the rain when we don’t have sense enough to come inside.
We need merely only change our thinking, and by changing our thinking we can change our actions, and thereby change our results. It’s all about belief and having a dream.

Instead Of…
Instead of envying the ‘big guns’ that have large lists of people ready to promote their products to thousands of hungry buyers, ask how can you get yourself into a position where you too, have a long list of people who would love to promote your products.
Instead ofgetting frustrated that you can’t seem to monetize your site, find out what others are doing that’s working. You can emulate and improve upon their methods, or better still, you get an education on internet marketing.
(I’ll show you how to do exactly thatin a moment.) But first, you need to believe that you can, make it a goal and dream about it.
Here’s an interesting example of how to write marketing copy that can turn a negative into a positive and in this example, how you can market yourself when looking for a job – even if you are a convicted Marijuana smuggler.
Here’s How the Advertisement Went
Employment Wanted:
Business Experience – Owned and operated a successful fishing business – multi-vessel, one airplane, one island and processing facility. Simultaneously owned and operated a fleet of tractor-trailer trucks conducting business in the western United States.
During this time I also co-owned and participated in the executive level management of 120 people worldwide in a successful export and import venture with revenues in excess of US$100 million annually.
Attributes– I am an expert in all levels of security; I have extensive computer skills, am personable, outgoing, well-educated, reliable, clean and sober. When confronted with facts I accept them willing and take responsibility for my actions. (the US Federal Court will confirm this)
I have spoken in schools to thousands of kids and parent groups over the past ten years on “the consequences of choice“, and received public recognition from the Police force for community service. I am well-traveled and speak English, French, and Spanish.
References available: from friends, family, Police, Prison Wardens and the U.S. District Attorney, etc.
Turns Out
Turns out that this guy was actually an ex-Marijuana Smuggler, seeking a job after serving a 10-year prison sentence in the United States. While most people with this type of background would have downplayed their Marijuana Smuggling past, in the hopes that someone would hire them.
However, Brian O’Dea instead did the opposite of what many would have done and instead revealed all in a public advertisement in a major newspaper outlining more background information.
The ‘Actual’ Advertisement
Employment Wanted – Former Marijuana Smuggler having successfully completed a ten-year sentence, incident free for importing 75 tons of marijuana into the United States. To which I admitted my involvement and took full responsibility for my actions and I am now seeking a legal and legitimate means to support myself and my family.
The Result?
The result, an amazing 600 responses, job offers and plenty of free media coverage that got him a book deal and a ton of speaking engagements.
So What!
So whatif it means being true toyourself, there’s an excellent chance you will fare far better for having taken the leap of faith, than if you’d taken the common road pretending to be something you are not.
Every great innovation began with people saying it either couldn’t be done, or it would never work. Forget the naysayers and dare to be different.
It’s All True
This is not new, news, in fact, it was almost a decade ago that the “Marijuana Smuggler Seeks Job” ad first appeared and today Brian makes money telling his story and with his book called, “HIGH – Confessions of an International Drug Smuggler.” You can see it on his website www.brianodea.com
The Lesson?
The lesson is, go ahead and turn your negatives into positives and do what YOU think is right, not what everyone else says, or what “conventional wisdom” advises. Sometimes taking what we believe is the correct course of action may go against the grain and seems to be the opposite of what the world expects. Success can come to anyone who wants it bad enough!

The takeaway is,that no matter what life deals out there is always a way to redeem yourself and make a new life. Everyone has a story to tell and it’s just a matter of letting the world know about what your message is. More importantly how to get your message to the world and what better way than the internet?

You’ve just finished writing your blog post or the sales copy for your new product or promotion. You have the keywords sorted and you have written in a natural way.
You have used a Keyword tool so you know you will get traffic to your content.
But still, how to write great website content?
Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to test your copy BEFORE you actually send prospects to it?
Think about This
What if 1,000 people read your sales page or blog and NOBODY takes action and buys, you’ve just wasted all that traffic.
Even if it was free traffic, you’ve still burned your chance to promote your product.
Odds are even if you do rewrite the copy, they’re not going to come back a second time and read it again.
If only there was a way to know ahead of time whether your copy is good or not.
What if there was a way to learn how to write great website content or how to write great blog posts without having to use trial and error…wait, there is!
Here’s How
Here’s how to write greatcontent and articles that will get read. Here’s how to write marketing copy, that sells. This is what to do after you have written it and before you post it, turn off the phone, switch off the Internet and refuse to be distracted for the next hour or so.
Now, imagine you are the prospect. You are thinking like the prospect, feeling like the prospect, experiencing the same issues, same problems, same questions as you prospect, etc.
Put yourself in their shoes and re-read your copy from start to finish.
Do not spend time making corrections (you can do that later), just simply read as though you are a prospect considering, buying this product, using the service or following the advice.
Finished?
Now rate how well your copy accomplishes the following, assigning a number 1 – 5 to each element.
1 means “Practically non-existent”
2 is “Room for serious improvement”
3 means “Not horrible, but could be better”
4 is “Strong”
5 indicates “You positively NAILED it.”
Ready? Here we go…
Does the headline instantly grab your attention? _____
Does the lead-in compel you to read further? _____
Are the headline and lead-in completely believable? _____
Is, the headline and lead-in combo likely to resonate powerfully with your prospects? _____
Does, the headline and lead-in combo offer powerful benefits? _____
Does the Author establish their qualifications / expertise beyond doubt? _____
Do the emotions you experience while reading the first few paragraphs compel you to want to read further? _____
Is the prospect given a reason why they must read this and must read this now? _____
Does the copy read like a conversation between two friends? _____
Is it clear that the spokesperson truly has the best interests of the prospect at heart? _____
Are the product’s benefits clearly expressed? _____
Are the emotional reasons for purchasing fully developed? _____
Does the copy entertain and inform as well as sell? _____
Is the price fully justified and trivialized? _____
Is there a compelling reason why the prospect should immediately take action? _____
Is there a sense of urgency? _____
Do you feel yourself getting more and more excited as you move through the content? _____
Is the call to action compelling enough that you would feel silly for not ordering immediately? _____
Is the prospect told exactly what to do next, how to order and how they will receive their product? _____
If you were a prospect, would you make the purchase? _____
Scoring
Ok, let’s add up you score and see how well you did.
21- 50: STOP right there. Do NOT use your copy until you make significant changes.
51 – 65: Not so good, but at least, you made a start. Now go back and make the adjustments it needs.
66 – 80: Not bad and OK for a draft, but not good enough to use unless you just don’t have the time to fix it, OR your offer is so compelling that it doesn’t need a strong letter.
81 – 95: Looking good. A little tweaking here and there can still improve your conversions.
96 – 105: Congratulations! Maybe you should be writing copy for a living! This is how to write great content for your website.

You have a dream: You want to become an Internet Marketer, and make lots and lots of money online so one day you can tell your boss to ‘have a nice day.’
In this dream scenario you work less, make more money so you can quit your day job. – Then you see it!
It’s a sales letter that reads, “Work online earn money” and next week you can kiss your day job goodbye, forever.” It continues… “this is the best small business to start and you will be rich in no time at all”…blah blah blah.
But In Reality
But sadly, real life doesn’t work like that. It turns out to be just another scam. Or if it is legit and you do make some money, it’s not usually enough to allow you to quit your job.
In fact, life continually gets in the way. You may even make a little extra money but then it dries up. Or youhave an emergency and the extra money you made gets you out of that crisis but you’re no further ahead.
Or perhaps you have the best of intentions but you haven’t quite got around to making the ‘elusive fortune‘ online and you still have your job. Even though you swore you would be retired and living the easy life by now.
But….Whoops…
How do you eat a watermelon? Unless you’re a Hippopotamus, you really can’t get it all into your mouth in one go, so instead you must eat it one small bite at a time.
It’s No Different
Building your online income so you can tell your boss ‘to shove it‘, works the same way. You do it one step at a time and you go through the process of replacing your current income, one little step at a time.
It’s a funny thing because really you can make $5,000 a month online fairly easily, but only when you KNOW you can do it. But first you need an education, in internet marketing and until you KNOW how this dream may seem just out of reach.
As long as the goal seems out of reach your subconscious will sabotage your every step and see to it that it never happens.
If you can’t conceive it, there is no way you’re going to achieve it, no matter how hard you try.
Riding A Bike
It’s like learning to ride a bike, once you learn how, you never forget. But no-one learned to ride a bike without falling off at least once and even though it was painful, we just got back on and tried again.
Why? Because as children, we never ever thought that we couldn’t do it. Every other kid was riding a bike and we were going to do it too!
We struggled and never gave up because there was nothing in our subconscious to stop us, ‘fighting‘ to learn how to ride that bike.
Magic Does Happen
The magic is this; Instead of sitting down at your computer and thinking, “Okay, I’m going to make enough money to quit my job! Or “I’ve got to make enough money to cover all my expenses this month.”
You simply tell yourself you’re going to make enough to cover one little bill. This simple trick will help you outsmart your subconscious, which is alway fighting you. Not wanting you to move out of your comfort zone.
If you do this one small step at a time, You’re no longer trying to create an entire business, or changing your life, because your subconscious really doesn’t like changes. Instead, you’re simply taking one small step.
Get that first bill paid and you’ll be on your way enjoying numerous little successes along the way that will fuel you and keep you going to achieving financial freedom, one step at a time.
Start Small
So pick a monthly bill, any bill, maybe it’s your $100 electric bill, great. Now focus on getting enough income coming in each month to completely cover that bill. All you need to make a consistent $100 a month and that bill is then taken care of.
Don’t spend this new income on anything other than paying that bill. Any money you make above what it takes to pay the bill is either reinvested into your business.
The Next Step
You then pick another bill and start covering that every month, too. And you just keep adding another bill, then another bill, into the mix until they are ALL covered.
This should include your mortgage or rent, and your food, in fact, everything.
Your Mind
Your mind can wrap itself around this concept of taking it one step at a time. Your subconscious will stop fighting you and you’ll be surprised how easy the process becomes.
It’s all about small steps that prove you can do it and that proof will allow you to move on to the next level, and the next and on and on it will go.
Success
Once you’ve got all of your bills covered and then some, you can now quit your day job with confidence because now you KNOW you can make money online.
There is no question. You’ve already proven you’ve got the confidence and the skills. But notice how you did it, not all at once, but simply one bill at a time.
You’re no longer trying to create an entire business all you are doing, is simply taking the first steps.
Get that first bill paid and you’ll be on your way to achieving total financial freedom, one step at a time without your subconscious sabotaging your success.

Did you know there are actually 4 types of affiliate commission programs, other than just a one-time payout?
Did you know there are lifetime residual income affiliate programs that will pay for you forever? Here are the options…
Residual commission income – You promote a membership program and you will get paid monthly (as long as that customer continues the membership) and as you don’t need to do anything you continue to get recurring commissions automatically.
Residual commission affiliate programs – when you sell a product, a cookie is placed on that customer’s computer. Then anything else that customer purchases from the seller is linked to you, and you get a commission. But if the cookie is deleted, or if the customer changes computers, then you will no longer receive commissions on their purchases. This is sometimes known as ‘Cookie’ commissions
Lifetime residual affiliate programs – this works like a cookie commission, only instead of a cookie, the product seller uses the customer’s email address to track sales. Thus, as long as the email address remains the same, you can receive commissions on all sales from this customer for years. This could also be called a lifetime commission program
Affiliate commission marketing also known as second tier commissions – this is when you refer other affiliates to the merchant. Sort of like a multi-level program, you get a small commission for the sales your referral affiliate makes.
So Which Are The Best Affiliate Commissions?
If you make a traditional affiliate sale, you may receive high affiliate commissions (50% -75%) but you get paid only once and that’s it.
If you make a monthly membership type of sale, (#1 Residual commission income) you get paid until the customer cancels, which means you can usually get paid for several months, perhaps even years. – Which is not bad.
If you promote products with either cookie or lifetime commissions, (#2 Residual commission affiliate programs or #3 Lifetime residual affiliate programs) you could get paid for years on everything else they buy from that vendor, in addition to the original sale.
Earn Unexpected Commissions
What’s also great about (#2 Residual commission affiliate programs or #3 Lifetime residual affiliate programs) is if the seller has many products. You might promote just one of their products, and if over time customers buy that product and the seller then promotes other products to those same customers that result in sales you make the full commission on each and every sale. So you could get unexpected commissions every month for years. – Nice.
And it’s all because you promoted products with lifetime referrals or cookies. You get paid again and again so it’s not always about the amount of commission you receive but how often you receive it.
So Where Can You find These Products?
Knowing that there are different types of affiliate commission programs means you can begin researching the different affiliate offers.
Not all selling platforms allow for lifetime referrals, so by looking at those that do, you can find the product sellers who will pay you for every product they sell to your customers, not just the ones you promote. Start with Amember, Zaxaa, Infusionsoft and Nanacast – they all allow for lifetime commissions.
Next, you can use a search directory, such as https://www.affiliatescout.com/. When doing your search, choose “lifetime commissions” under “features” without any other search parameters and you’ll find nearly twelve hundred results.
Go back and narrow your parameters to find the exact programs your audience might be interested in.
Just Ask
Also, if someone asks you to be their affiliate, ask if they pay lifetime commissions. Sometimes they’ll have two programs, one in which they only pay commissions on the first product sold, which is normally what happens and a second program they reserve for their ‘special’ affiliates in which they do pay lifetime commissions. It never hurts to ask.
Why Not
Bottom line: If you can make recurring or even lifetime commissions from your promotional efforts, why not go for it? You do the work once, and you get paid over and over again. You can’t beat that.

Because setting up a home based affiliate marketing business is relatively easy and there are many factors that make it very attractive.
One of the most desirable factors is being able to work from your own home. Your home is often your most comfortable surroundings. Everything you want and need is right there.

If you have small children, a home business is even better. You can work and still be home with the children. You also don’t need to worry about commuting and work wardrobes. You can work when you want and schedule your jobs around your other commitments.
Working from home does provide people with many wonderful advantages.Many of us dream of throwing in our 9 – 5 jobs. We would love to tell our bosses to “take this job and shove it”.

Publicity and advertising is a great way to reach a lot of people. The key is to have a message that is newsworthy, a slogan that is catchy or an advertisement that is memorable and of course the money to spend on marketing.
People on a limited budget often use ‘Novelty Items’ that they put their message on, such as t-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, pens and pencils, mouse pads, you name it.
However just having a logo or business name can be boring and is often something that many people do. So the trick is to have a compelling image or slogan OR something interesting.
One of my favorite (novelty items) are these novelty million dollar bills ($1,000,000) that I give to my special customers or use as an attention grabber in sales letters.
They are very realistic and people love them. I carry them with me everywhere as conversation starters and I exchange them for business cards or peoples’ contact information. You can use them in many ways.
